4. You Get Paid

Once the transaction closes, your brokerage receives the agreed-upon 30% referral fee.

1. How does a real estate agent referral work?

A real estate referral allows one agent to connect a client with another agent who serves the market where the client needs help. We complete a brokerage referral agreement, I handle the Las Vegas transaction, and your brokerage receives the agreed referral fee when the transaction closes.

2. What is a typical real estate referral fee?

A common real estate referral fee is around 25% of the commission earned by the agent receiving the referral, although referral fees are negotiable and can vary. For qualifying referrals to me in Southern Nevada, I offer a 30% referral fee paid to the referring brokerage at closing.

3. What referral fee do you offer real estate agents?

I offer a 30% referral fee for qualifying referrals, paid to the referring brokerage at closing. We'll complete the referral agreement before I begin working with your client.

4. Who pays the real estate referral fee?

The referral fee is paid from the receiving side of the transaction to the referring brokerage according to the referral agreement. It does not increase the client's cost because they were referred by another agent.

5. When is a real estate referral fee paid?

The referral fee is paid to the referring brokerage after the referred transaction successfully closes, according to the terms of our referral agreement.

6. Do I need a real estate referral agreement?

Yes. We'll complete a written brokerage referral agreement documenting the referral and agreed referral fee before I begin working with your client.

7. Do you accept REALTOR® referrals for clients moving to Las Vegas?

Yes. I work with agents who have clients buying, selling, or relocating to Las Vegas and surrounding Southern Nevada communities.

8. What areas do you serve for real estate referrals?

I serve Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Pahrump, and surrounding areas throughout Southern Nevada.

9. Will you keep me updated after I refer my client?

Yes. I'll keep you informed at key points throughout the transaction so you know how your client is doing without having to chase me for updates.

10. Can I refer both buyers and sellers?

Absolutely. I accept buyer and seller referrals, including relocation clients, first-time buyers, military and VA buyers, luxury and high-rise clients, investors, and homeowners preparing to sell.
